We're excited to meet you! To ensure your interview goes smoothly please bring the following with you to your interview. You will not need to provide these documents unless you been hired: ​

  • Driver’s License: you must have a valid license to drive our clients

  • Social Security Card: background checks and payroll

  • Vehicle being used for transporting clients: vehicle must be in good working order

  • Automobile Insurance for the vehicle above: vehicle must be ensured

  • CNA Certification and CPR Card (if applicable)

  • Two professional references (no family members or friends)

  • Voided Check or Direct Deposit Form from your bank

  • I-9 documents -

  • Certificate of completed 1 hour Alzheimer Disease and Related Disorder Training through the Department of Elder Affairs (if applicable)

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How much are new hire fees?

A: Our new hire fees are $100. We deduct $25 every other week until it is paid. 

​

Q: How much are uniforms? 

A: Each new Caregiver will be fit for uniforms in Orientation. It is a requirement to purchase a minimum of 2 tops. Roughly, $58-$65 depending on the size ordered. This deduction comes out of your first check.​

Q: Are our Caregivers 1099 employees?

A: No, our Caregivers are W-2 employees of Comfort Keepers and are subject to applicable taxes.

Q: How often are the Caregiver paid?

A: Our Caregivers are paid every week on Friday. 

​

Q: How soon can I start working after orientation? 

A: You can begin accepting shifts as soon as all required steps are completed, including CareAcademy and the 1-hour Alzheimer's training.

​

Q: What is the Payroll cycle?

A: Our pay week is Monday- Sunday. 

​

Q: Are we paid for Orientation? 

A: Yes, you will be paid for Orientation. Upon successful completion, you'll receive payment for a total of 14 hours, which includes both in-person and online training.
